The Cube
This project’s idea is to construct a 3D Launchpad, having 4x4 grids, buttons, sliders, encoders all around it (5 faces of the cube), rather than being a flat instrument like most launchpads are. This is my earliest project being started in 2014, which I never managed to finish but gained from it the experience and knowledge used later in the building of my guitar and the machines constituting my bachelor thesis.
This version was an Arduino directly sending MIDI data to a digital midi port which is then picked up by Ableton. Updates will replace this by a serial communication being picked up inside of Ableton by a MAX-patch for simplicity and stability.
